The Art Councils are new philanthropic communities created for the museum’s next chapter, bringing together like-minded donors, collectors, and contemporary art enthusiasts around the artists, exhibitions, and ideas shaping the field today.

Art Council supporters help advance the museum’s contemporary art exhibitions while building a dynamic community around contemporary Asian and Asian diasporic art.

The Contemporary Art Council and Global Art Council offer two distinct ways to engage: one rooted in local and regional contemporary art experiences, and one connected to the global contemporary art happenings.

Contemporary Art Council

The Contemporary Art Council is a new community for emerging collectors, contemporary art enthusiasts, and donors who want closer access to the artists, curators, and exhibitions shaping the local and regional art scene. Annual support directly advances the museum’s contemporary art exhibitions.

Global Art Council

The Global Art Council is a new community for internationally minded patrons who want to engage with contemporary Asian and Asian diasporic art through a global lens. Annual support directly advances the museum’s contemporary art exhibitions.

Includes Contemporary Art Council experiences, plus:

VIP access and curated cultural programming around select major international and domestic art fairs, such as FOG Design+Art, Frieze art fairs, and Art Basel
Curator-led private tours and visits to major institutions and galleries with museum leadership
